Food is always amazing. Some of the best southern cooking in Dothan! Portion sizes are large. We usually split a plate and it’s plenty of food!
We go weekly. Depending when you get there, you will get in line. Worth the wait though! Food is excellent and you won’t go hungry! Everything is delicious!

This location was shown to me by local guys. The food was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every bite of it. For me as a german this seems to be traditional southern food and I loved it.
The food is excellent and you have so many choices each day of the week. I thoroughly enjoyed the fried chicken and the vegetables sides tasted as if you were in your own kitchen cooking them. Everything is from scratch. The customer service here is top notch and you feel welcome. This makes a difference in your choice of going back or staying away. I will definitely be going back
This place is so homey! My husband and I decided to try it out today, and we WILL be back! The food is delicious. Our compliments to the cooks! It is just like home cooking, and there are lots of options to choose from! I love that there was also baked chicken (not just fried). There are even multiple dessert options. The drinks are a little small, but seeing as they're included with the generous meal (1 meat and 4 sides), you really can't beat it. No complaints!
Food was good as it always has been for this families restaurants! Location is very good and close to my work. Only issue I had was 15 for my meal, but you do get a meat, 3 sides, bread and a drink. So on this economy way better than 12 fast food! Sever was great and always smiling!!! Well be back 100%!!!
Lovely “meat & 3,” 4, in my case. (Also nibbled off others’ plates.). It’s a lovely decent-sized, cafeteria-style restaurant with a few meat choices and a variety of side dishes & desserts. Desserts were very basic but I got banana pudding which was good. Baked chicken was tasty and seasoned well. Mashed potatoes were good and green beans were basic - canned but not bad at all. Fried okra was good and the slaw was a nice sweet. We also had cheddar biscuits that were drizzled with honey. Nice touch! Service was excellent people were very friendly. It has a sweet down-home feel that was obviously a local favorite. Very good stop for passing through! Highly recommend.
